The Army National Guard offers a Health Care Specialist role that serves civilians after disasters and supports Soldiers with emergency and ongoing medical care. You will address civilian health needs after disasters, treat injuries, and help maintain medical readiness, supplies, and equipment. Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 16 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with classroom and field components.
