Engineering ServicesElectric Power DistributionElectric Bulk Power Transmission and ControlTo support the Transmission Line team, the full-time Senior Transmission Line Engineer, PE will design High Voltage (69kV-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD software while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver project design criteria and construction documents.
Key responsibilities:
Facilitate collaboration between disciplines and project team members while acting as the client contact to determine project scope
Develop construction documents including project design criteria, plan and profile drawings, and construction specifications
Coordinate design aspects, estimate construction costs, and specify materials for high voltage transmission line projects
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school
Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 8 years in Transmission Line Engineering or related fields
Current PE license is required
Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred
Experience working with or for a Utility is highly preferred
