Branch Manager

Branch Manager Auto-Chlor Services, LLC is currently seeking a Branch Manager for our local location. This position manages the restaurant service branch with daily routes, account executives, production, warehouse, supervisors and office staff. Achieve growth in number of customers served, increase sales and profitability of the existing account base, and train and develop team members to achieve these goals. This is a hands-on position where the work occurs in the field with our customers and team members. Responsibilities include overseeing activities directly related to making products or providing services, directing and coordinating activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products, reviewing financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement, managing staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties, directing and coordinating organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, establishing and implementing departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, determining staffing requirements, interviewing, hiring and training new employees, planning and directing activities such as sales promotions, coordinating with other department heads as required, determining goods and services to be sold, and setting prices and credit terms, monitoring businesses and agencies to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits, managing the routes, branch AR's, and coordination of new sales and installations, projecting sales, ordering equipment, parts, and chemicals while managing the budget of the branch, and supporting team members in providing the tools necessary to be successful. Required skills and abilities include the ability to communicate effectively with others, make critical decisions while following company procedures, be truthful and seen as credible in the workplace, and have strong organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks systematically. Additional required skills include strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and entrepreneurial spirit, ability to perform with a strong sense of work ethic, dependability, and trustworthiness, ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety, ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information, strong mechanical aptitude, skills in managing own time and the time of others, excellent customer service skills, knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services and closing deals, ability to move quickly, think fast and home in skills on negotiation, objection resolution, and problem solving in selling and servicing customers in a highly demanding, diverse marketplace, ability to manage team members and customers, expand into new markets, develop future leaders and maximize profitability. Qualifications include a high school graduate or general education degree (GED), 3 - 7 years of related experience, 1 - 4 years of successful sales experience, 1 - 4 years of management experience, computer skills, CDL, and a clean and insurable driving record. Amount of travel required: 10-20% within designated service area/route territory.
