Structure Grinder

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Operate hand grinders, belt sanders, and other finishing tools to clean and smooth welded joints Remove weld spatter, burrs, and surface imperfections from metal parts Inspect finished surfaces for quality and conformance to specifications Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and weld symbols Maintain tools and equipment in safe workingcondition Follow safety protocols andwear appropriate PPE at all times Support welders by preparing surfaces for welding and post-weld finishing Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to 5S and lean practices Report defects or equipment issues to supervisors promptly Assist with material handling and staging of parts as needed All other duties assigned.
