Recruiting Contractor | ChicagoI’m currently looking for a Recruiting Contractor to join a collaborative recruiting team at a growing Chicago-based company. This is a great opportunity for a junior recruiter or strong Recruiting Coordinator who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and wants hands-on experience managing candidate pipelines from application through offer.
Location: Chicago – Hybrid
Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday onsite | Monday & Friday remote
Hours:
Approximately 30–35 hours/week, with flexibility up to 40 hours during higher-volume periods
Pay: $35–$45/hour
Contract: November 2026 – June 2027, with potential for longer-term opportunities based on business needs
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing high-volume candidate pipelines for recurring Contact Center hiring classes
- Reviewing applications and resumes and identifying qualified candidates
- Moving candidates through the recruiting process, including video interviews and assessments
- Reviewing candidate information and determining who should advance based on established criteria
- Coordinating interviews and supporting candidates through the offer process
- Maintaining accurate candidate records and statuses within the ATSManaging multiple hiring classes and overlapping recruiting cycles
- Partnering closely with the recruiting team to keep hiring processes moving efficiently
- Providing a positive candidate experience throughout the process
What we’re looking for:
- Approximately 2–3 years of recruiting or recruiting coordination experience
- Experience reviewing resumes/applications and managing candidate pipelines
- Experience working in an ATS; Greenhouse experience is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
Someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and being part of a collaborative recruiting teamA Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required, and industry background is open.
