Department: Emergency Department Shift: Day Shift Shift Timing: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM Schedule: 12 hours × 4 days Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week Contract Duration: 13 weeks Unit Capacity: 64 beds Scrub Color: Navy Blue EMR: EPIC (Required) Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed. 2. Mandatory Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience. Some Pediatric (PEDS) experience is required. Previous travel experience is mandatory. Candidates must have documented travel nursing experience. Must be comfortable handling different types of emergency patients.

Important: Candidates with only Med-Surg or ICU experience are not suitable. Recent Emergency Department experience is essential. 3. Required Certifications All certifications must be current and from AHA where specified. ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. BLS: Basic Life Support. PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support. NIHSS: National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale. TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course.

Important: TNCC must be in hand at the time of submission. Pending TNCC is not accepted. 4. License Requirements Active New York (NY) RN license is mandatory. NURSYS license verification report required. All RN licenses must be included and verified. Driver's license required. Driver's license address must match the candidate's demographic information. 5. Required Clinical Experience The candidate should have experience treating: Stroke. Sepsis. Trauma. Myocardial Infarction (MI). Cardiac Arrest. Respiratory Failure. Pediatric emergencies. Adult emergencies. Geriatric emergencies. Newborn-related emergency cases. Specialty Equipment Experience with the following equipment is beneficial: Rapid Infusor. Arctic Sun (temperature management system). 6. Patient Population The ED provides care to: Newborns. Pediatric patients. Adults. Geriatric patients.

Important: ED nurses are expected to care for all assigned patients, including SANE cases. SANE = Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. Candidates should be comfortable providing appropriate care to sexual assault patients. 7. Unit Details Total capacity: 64 beds Breakdown: 2 Triage beds. 40 Acute Care beds. 6 Super Track beds. 2 Trauma beds. 10 CDU beds. 6 Psychiatric beds. CDU = Clinical Decision Unit. 8. Shift & Scheduling Requirements Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM. Four 12-hour shifts per week. 48 guaranteed hours per week. Block scheduling is not promised. Floating is mandatory. Navy Blue scrubs required. Charge Nurse Experience: Highly preferred, but not mandatory. 9. Radius / Local Candidates Local candidates are accepted. Candidates living within 75 miles receive the local rate. Candidates outside 75 miles may qualify for travel rates, subject to facility confirmation.
