1099 Contractor - Surgical First Assist - LSA/CSFA (Robotics, GYN, Plastics, Spine)

What You'll Do: Lead as First Assist: Serve as the primary surgical first assist, providing critical hands-on support throughout procedures. Set the Stage Pre-Op: Confirm cases, meet patients, walk them through procedures, gather documentation, and coordinate closely with OR staff. Deliver in the OR: Support patient positioning, maintain a sterile field, anticipate the surgeon's next move, and work in sync with the surgical team. Follow Through Post-Op: Assist with patient transfer, deliver thorough PACU handoffs, and complete documentation with precision. Help Us Get Better: Contribute to clinical and operational initiatives — education, training, and process improvement. Keep Growing: Bring a willingness to learn new surgical specialties and expand your skill set.

What You Bring: At least 2 years of surgical assisting experience Hands-on experience assisting in Robotics, Spine, and Plastics Spine experience is a plus Education & Credentials Strong technical skills in the operating room Graduate of an Accredited program- PA/NP/CSFAAbility to acquire VA/MD state license What Sets You Apart Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to different personalities and needsA customer-service mindset Confidence to work independently and autonomously
