Transportation Aide (CNA)

Transportation Aide: Majestic Care of Fairfield is looking for a Transportation Aide to join our team's mission and believe in our core values!

Position Overview: The Transportation Aide is responsible for the safe transportation ofresidents to and from the facility during approved activities to pre-determined destinations

Key Responsibilities: Operate the facility’s vehicle in a safe manner when transporting residents. Assists the residents when on-boarding and off-boarding the vehicle. Ensures the residents’ safe arrival to the pre-determined destination and the facility. Maintains route and mileage logs. Monitors routine vehicle safety conditions including fuel and vital fluid levels. Reports any vehicle problems, or maintenance needs to the Executive Directorimmediately.

• Ensures that all vehicle passengers follow safety procedures, including fastening seatbelts, prior to moving the van.
• Interacts in a positive manner with the residents and visitors as a representative of thefacility.
