Advising on the design and validation of a next-generation financial statement solution, the part-time or full-time Federal Financial Reporting Specialist will work remotely to enhance federal financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Key responsibilities: Advise on the design and construction of the solution's data model and validate financial statement outputs Validate USSGL crosswalks and ensure accurate mapping of transactions to financial statement line items Conduct business process analysis and manage the solution roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders
Required qualifications: 7+ years of federal financial management experience, preferably with federal agencies or consulting firms Demonstrated experience in federal financial statement preparation and auditing Hands-on experience with GTAS and familiarity with the Treasury Financial Manual Strong knowledge of OMB Circulars A-123, A-136, and A-11 A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with additional experience considered in lieu of a degree
