Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a Senior Counsel with over seven years of experience to join their Community Development Finance Practice Group in Denver, CO. The candidate should have substantial real estate transactional experience, including real estate lending and joint venture financing, with a preference for experience involving tax credits.
Duties:
Draft senior, real estate secured loan documents and joint venture partnership agreements. Review title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys. Oversee paralegal title and survey review. Represent lenders, investors, and syndicators in real estate financings qualifying for tax credits.
Requirements:
Licensed to practice in the state of the office location. Strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications:
State Bar admission. Skills Experience with real estate lending and joint venture financing. Proficiency in drafting legal documents and agreements. Ability to review and analyze title commitments and surveys.
