Low Voltage Cable Technician

Pay: $20–$26 per hour, depending on experience Professional Employment Group of Colorado (PEG) is recruiting aLow Voltage Cable Technicianfor a client opportunity. We’re looking for a dependable technician with hands-on cabling experience who takes pride in quality work and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities: Install and terminate CAT6, CAT6A, multi-pair, and fiber optic cabling. Test installed cables to verify functionality and compliance with industry standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Communicate professionally with customers and team members. Maintain a safe, organized work environment at customer sites.

Qualifications: At least one year of low-voltage cable installation and testing experience. Experience with CAT6, CAT6A, multi-pair, and fiber optic cabling. Cable termination and testing skills. Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics. Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently. Valid driver’s license and good driving record. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and able to pass a background check and drug screening. Schedule and Work Environment Monday–Friday, with potential overtime, weekend, and on-call work. Travel to customer locations, including occasional overnight stays. Work involving ladders, lifts, and confined spaces. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Compensation and Client Benefits $20–$26 per hour, depending on experience.
