Key responsibilities:
Design power utility substations, including general arrangements, equipment layouts, and grounding plans, while ensuring compliance with applicable codes
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure successful project execution and resolve technical issues
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, reviewing calculations and design packages for quality and compliance
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
15+ years of experience in substation physical design engineering
Professional Engineering (P.E.) License
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Prior experience designing substations ranging from 12kV to 500kV
