Freight Dispatcher

Overview: Salary Range $23.00 HourlyAbout the Role Quicksilver Express Courier is an on-demand delivery company looking to hire a full time Freight Dispatcher you are detail oriented and able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment, then this is the position for you! MUST be reliable! MUST work well with others! This is not an entry-level or customer support position. You will be responsible for managing a fleet, adjusting routes in real time, and ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule. Dispatch and coordinate daily routes for a local fleet Build efficient routes and adjust based on real-time conditions Manage multiple drivers handling time-sensitive deliveries Monitor delivery progress and resolve issues quickly Coordinate with warehouse staff on freight movement and dock schedules Prioritize urgent shipments and maintain service levels Track shipments and maintain accurate system updates Ensure driver productivity and route efficiency Coach new drivers as part of their on-the-job training, providing additional instruction and guidance.

Preferred: Experience freight dispatching local delivery or courier drivers
