Associate Attorney - Bankruptcy and Litigation

Duties: Meet directly with clients and provide legal advice. Draft petitions, motions, objections, and pleadings. Appear at hearings in Bankruptcy Court. Handle motions to extend stay, confirmation hearings, and adversary matters. Communicate with trustees and opposing counsel. Assist with Chapter 11 Subchapter V matters. Develop negotiation strategies with creditors. Collaborate closely with partners and the legal team.

Requirements: Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar (or about to be licensed). 0-5 years of experience. Confident in court or eager to gain courtroom experience. Organized and able to manage a docket. Communicates clearly and professionally with clients. Takes ownership of cases. Works well in a team environment. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications: Licensed to practice law in Texas. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
