Tool Room Clerk

Key Responsibilities: Issue, set up, and return hand tools and cutting tools to support production and machining needs. Organize and store tooling, fixtures, and related equipment to ensure quick access and proper control. Create and maintain tool sheets for jobs, documenting required tooling and setup information. Inspect tooling for wear or damage and coordinate replacements, sharpening, or repair as needed. Keep tool room inventory accurate and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Qualifications: Experience working in a tool room, machine shop, or manufacturing environment preferred. Familiarity with hand tools, cutting tools, and basic shop tooling practices. Ability to follow tool sheets and maintain organized storage systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Comfortable working on your feet and handling tools and fixtures throughout the day. Basic computer skills for tracking tools and documenting inventory. Strong communication skills and willingness to support production teams. Reliable, consistent, and safety-minded.
