WORK SOMEWHERE WITH A STORYAs part of the George Eastman Museum team, you’ll play an important role in keeping people, collections, and historic spaces safe while helping visitors feel welcome. You will: Keep visitors, staff, volunteers, students, and collections safe Respond calmly and quickly to emergencies and safety concerns Monitor restricted areas and help prevent theft or unauthorized activity Provide a welcoming, professional, and inclusive visitor experience Document incidents clearly and communicate important information Work closely with Security, Facilities, and other Museum teams
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who is observant, dependable, professional, and comfortable working with people.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GEDValid New York State Security Guard License Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Security or law enforcement experience Strong communication and customer-service skills Good judgment and problem-solving skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Must be at least 21 years old\nCompany
