Role Description: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a part-time, remote role responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall direction for Pacific Oaks College. The CEO oversees institutional planning, financial stewardship, and operational effectiveness to ensure mission alignment and sustainable growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding academic and administrative leaders, collaborating with TCS Education System partners, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accreditation standards. The CEO will develop and monitor business and strategic plans, support enrollment and revenue initiatives, and represent the college to external stakeholders, including community partners and donors. This role also involves fostering an inclusive culture that promotes student success, faculty engagement, and organizational accountability.
Qualifications: Strong financial management skills, including Finance and Business Planning, with experience overseeing budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation. Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management, with the ability to optimize processes, systems, and organizational structures in an academic or nonprofit setting. Proven capability in Strategic Planning, including setting long-term goals, evaluating risk, and aligning initiatives with institutional mission and values. Experience in Sales or enrollment growth strategies, with a focus on sustainable revenue development and stakeholder engagement. Prior executive or senior leadership experience in higher education, nonprofit, or related sectors. Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills across diverse communities and teams. Ability to lead effectively in a remote environment, using digital tools for governance, decision-making, and team management. Advanced degree in education, business, public administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
