Technology Transactions Associate

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Technology Transactions Associate with four to five years of experience to join their team in Chicago, IL. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned advisors, supporting life sciences and tech companies in developing IP strategies and facilitating key agreements.

Duties: Draft, review, and negotiate collaboration, partnering, licensing, and commercial agreements for companies at various stages. Provide expert guidance on product strategy, development, and market positioning for technology companies. Advise clients on corporate partnerships, strategic alliances, and licensing agreements in life sciences and technology sectors. Assist with IP and technology aspects of M&A transactions, public offerings, and venture capital financings. Conduct research and analysis on technologies such as AI, fintech, autonomous vehicles, and more.

Requirements: Minimum of four years of legal experience in IP and technology transactions. Interest in technology transactions for M&A matters and emerging company clients. Excellent research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. EducationJD is required.

Certifications: Admission to the state bar of the office location. Skills Strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating agreements.
