Senior Litigation Counsel

The Opportunity: Manage a complex commercial litigation docket in state and federal courts and arbitration proceedings. Represent owners, investors, developers, general contractors and property managers in matters ranging from several million dollars to several hundred million dollars. Handle cases through discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, hearings, mediation, arbitration and trial. Work alongside Chambers-ranked trial lawyers on sophisticated, high-stakes matters. Maintain direct client relationships and provide practical, strategic advice throughout each matter. Supervise junior attorneys and staff, including delegating assignments and reviewing work product.

Requirements: At least eight years of substantive commercial litigation experience. The position may be appropriate for a senior associate, senior counsel or partner-level attorney. Experience managing complex, multi-party litigation with a high degree of independence. Meaningful deposition, hearing, arbitration or trial experience. Construction or real estate litigation experience is preferred. Recent law firm experience is strongly preferred. Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Ability to work from the firm’s downtown Houston office four days per week. All inquiries will be handled confidentially.
