Senior Relay Engineering Analyst

Constellation Energy is seeking a Senior Relay Engineering Analyst to support reliable delivery of electric power across our utility network. In this role, you will design, analyze, and optimize protective relay schemes, perform fault and disturbance analysis, and support substation and transmission projects. You will collaborate with operations and field teams to troubleshoot protection issues, validate settings, and improve system reliability. Design and maintain protective relay schemes for transmission and substation assets Perform power system fault, disturbance, and event analysis to improve reliability Develop and review relay settings and coordination studies Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of protection systems Collaborate with field, operations, and planning teams on grid reliability initiatives Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations for system improvements Ensure compliance with NERC and internal reliability standards Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and analysts Relay protection systems Power system analysis SCADA and substation automation Protection coordination studies Fault and disturbance analysis NERC and reliability standards Protective relay testing tools ETAP/PSSE or similar software Technical documentation Data analysis and reporting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred NERC reliability or protection & control certifications a plus Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) beneficial
