Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a Data Privacy Litigation Associate for its Los Angeles, CA office. The ideal candidate will have three to four years of experience in complex commercial litigation and reside in California with an active bar license or willingness to obtain one.
Duties:
Conduct factual investigations and manage discovery processes.
Prepare pleadings and motions for litigation cases.
Take and defend depositions effectively.
Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing parties.
Communicate clearly and effectively with clients.
Requirements:
Experience in California-specific data privacy litigation, including CIPA and CCPA.
Familiarity with arbitration and class actions is beneficial.
Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
Exceptional judgment and articulation of legal strategies.
EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Active California bar license or commitment to obtain one.
