Position Description:
An EDM operator is needed to operate the sinker/wire EDM machines. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday – Thursday 4:00 pm – 2:30 am. This position receives a 20% shift differential.
Essential Responsibilities:
Change and set electrodes Read micrometers, calipers, indicators, and comparator Read blueprints Identify visual defects Use and check various fixtures Identify alarm codes Start and stop machine Identify and correct machine operational problems Know and understand the ISO 9001/AS 9100 and Nadcap procedures and requirements Perform daily maintenance using a checklist Verify settings for special process approvals Communicate any questions and verify completeness and accuracy Understand, use, and follow work instructions
Qualifications:
