Role Description:
The Corporate Treasurer will oversee the organization’s cash management, liquidity planning, and banking relationships in alignment with corporate financial strategies. This part-time, remote role includes monitoring daily cash positions, forecasting short- and long-term cash needs, and optimizing the use of credit facilities and investment vehicles. The Treasurer will prepare and review treasury reports, support internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations. The role involves collaborating with finance, accounting, and senior leadership to support capital structure decisions, manage foreign currency exposures, and contribute to risk management initiatives. The Corporate Treasurer will also recommend process improvements, support treasury systems and tools, and provide analysis to guide financial decision-making.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in corporate treasury or related finance roles, including cash management, liquidity planning, and banking relationship management. Strong skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, with the ability to interpret data and present clear recommendations. Knowledge of treasury instruments, capital markets, foreign exchange, and risk management practices. Proficiency with financial systems, spreadsheets, and treasury management software; strong Excel skills are highly beneficial. Familiarity with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards relevant to corporate finance and treasury functions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across remote and cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CTP, CFA, CPA) are an advantage. Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
