Requirements:
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist license
- Strong knowledge of dental care procedures including root planing and preventive health
- Experience with dental radiography and image acquisition
- Proficiency in infection prevention, dental sterilization, and disinfection procedures
- Excellent patient communication and counseling skills
- Ability to manage patient records and charting accurately
- Commitment to professional ethics and decision-making
- Effective time management and ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
Job Description:
- Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis), scaling, and root planing
- Conduct periodontal charting and monitor gum health
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
- Conduct oral health screenings and review patient medical/dental histories
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and education accurately in dental records
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols
- Collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and front-office staff
- Build patient trust, ease anxiety, and communicate clearly and compassionately
