Senior Sterile Processing Technician (Second Shift/Full Time)Coordinates and prioritizes work assignments daily for sterilization and distribution of instruments and equipment used throughout the hospital; assures assignments are completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience: Certification Requirement: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management); or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD); or An equivalent certification from a nationally accredited central service technician credentialing organization recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in Sterile Processing.
NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate should be CRCST or CBSPD Certified and have previous experience in Sterile Processing.
