To support enterprise data and reporting initiatives in a municipal transportation environment, the contract QA/QC Specialist, Data Analytics will ensure data accuracy and reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams, working remotely during standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute QA/QC strategies, test plans, and data validation procedures to ensure data quality Validate ETL/ELT pipelines and BI reports using SQL to verify data accuracy and support user acceptance testing Identify data anomalies and collaborate with teams to resolve data quality issues and establish quality controls
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, and data validation Strong SQL proficiency for data validation and troubleshooting Hands-on experience creating test plans, test cases, and QA/QC documentation Experience testing data-intensive applications and BI reporting solutions
