Quality Assurance Manager

High volume, Tier automotive plant in eastern TN has immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Manager. Ideal candidate will have BS degree (in a technical discipline) along with at least 5+ years prior experience in a Quality Manager role. Experience in Tier 1 automotive is REQUIRED. The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure IATF 16949 compliance, and will also design Quality systems and conduct product audits. Will lead a 10-member Quality team. This is a highly visible role reporting to the Plant Manager. Must have strong communication skills as this role involves regular interaction with customers. Knowledge of 8D, 5Why, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis is highly important. This is a fast-paced environment where Quality is held to a high-standard.
