The engineer will personally design and develop electrical distribution equipment while working across Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Testing, and Operations. The company does not require daily office attendance. However, candidates must live—or be willing to relocate—close enough to the Portland, TN area to travel to the facility the following day when a project, test, manufacturing issue, or supplier need requires onsite support.
Responsibilities:
What You’ll Work OnYou will design electrical distribution products such as: Switchgear Switchboards Panelboards Busway / bus duct Electrical enclosures Bus bar systems Power-distribution assemblies Related low- and medium-voltage equipment The role includes equipment architecture and layout, bus bar configuration, component placement, enclosure design, drawings, BOMs, testing, certification, manufacturability, and product launch. Personally create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and BOMs. Develop electrical-equipment layouts, including bus bars, control components, enclosures, and internal equipment architecture.
