Overview:
A regional litigation team is seeking a litigation associate with 2–5 years of experience to join its Financial Services and Commercial Litigation practice in Houston. This is a full-time, in-office position ideal for an attorney who wants to build a career at the intersection of banking litigation and complex commercial disputes. There is a short path to Partner with strong mentorship and firm reputation.
Responsibilities:
Represent large financial institutions in litigation involving loan enforcement, UCC claims, and consumer finance disputes
Handle custom commercial litigation for corporate clients in sectors such as energy, telecom, and healthcare
Participate in motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial prep in Texas state and federal courts
Collaborate directly with partners and clients on case strategy and resolution
Qualifications:
2–5 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
Strong academic background and Texas bar admission required
Interest in financial services litigation and ability to work full-time in-office
