Position OverviewThe Elysium Psychiatric Consultation and Counseling Center is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team as a Telehealth Youth Mental Health Specialist. In this full-time position, you will work closely with young clients to provide essential mental health care, utilizing telehealth technology to ensure access and convenience for our patients. By employing a client-centered approach tailored to the youthful population, you will address their emotional and psychological needs in a safe, empathetic virtual environment.QualificationsA Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements within telehealth settings.A minimum of one year of direct experience in providing mental health support to psychiatric patients or substance abuse populations.Experience in conducting assessments and diagnosing mental health conditions.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience in individual and group therapy, especially within youth-focused settings.Familiarity with telehealth platforms and the ability to adapt to various digital communication tools.Proficient in computer skills, particularly in documenting client interactions and managing electronic health records.Compensation and BenefitsThe position offers an attractive salary range of USD 65,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
