The role involves working within the firm's Healthcare Practice Group to advise healthcare providers and businesses on regulatory compliance, operational matters, and strategic transactions.
Key Eligibility Criteria Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Licensure: Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
Experience:
1–4 years of experience in healthcare regulatory or corporate transactional practice.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work Advise on federal and California healthcare laws (e.g., Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, Medicare/Medi-Cal enrollment).
Assist with healthcare mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, and restructurings.
Draft and negotiate healthcare-related commercial contracts, including physician employment and management services agreements.
Conduct legal due diligence and prepare corporate governance documentation.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode Annual Salary: $160,000 – $190,000 (depending on qualifications). Includes a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k), and performance bonuses. The role follows a flex hybrid 3/2 work model.
