This leadership role manages a Sales Engineering and Prototype team within a manufacturing environment. The position combines technical sales support, customer collaboration, prototype development, and team leadership to help drive new business and successfully launch products into production. Up to 25% travel is required.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.10+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in metal fabrication or stamping. Leadership and team development experience. Strong blueprint reading, GD&T, CAD, and cost estimating skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead sales engineering and prototype activities. Support customer-facing technical sales initiatives and value engineering efforts. Coordinate with business development and operations to improve project execution. Monitor team performance and identify growth opportunities.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing-focused leadership role with customer interaction and moderate travel
