A commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced PM to lead ground-up mixed-use, apartment and hotel projects in Chicago. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, this opportunity offers long-term project continuity and responsibility for day-to-day site delivery.
About the Role: Construction Project Manager – Ground-Up Commercial Projects
Location: Chicago, IL
Salary: $135,000 base
Start: ASAPResponsibilitiesLead site operations from mobilization through completion and handover. Coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries and inspections. Manage construction schedules, short-term lookahead plans and site logistics. Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship and quality control. Work closely with the Project Manager to resolve field issues and keep construction progressing. Review drawings, specifications and subcontractor scopes. Maintain daily reports and manage punch lists and project closeout.
Qualifications:
Experience as a PM delivering ground-up commercial construction. A strong track record on mixed-use, multifamily apartment or hotel projects.
Required Skills:
Ability to manage multiple trades and complex construction schedules.
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, site safety and quality standards.
Clear communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Availability for an ASAP start preferred.
Pay range and compensation package$135,000 base salary.
Strong pipeline of upcoming projects.
