Providing legal advice and counsel across a broad range of business and compliance matters, the full-time remote North Carolina Licensed Senior Legal Counsel will draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, manage disputes, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while supporting business growth.
Key responsibilities:
Provide legal advice to management on various legal and business matters while managing disputes
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements across multiple business units
Participate in risk reviews and support risk management activities in alignment with company directives
Required qualifications:
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the North Carolina Bar or another State Bar
At least 8 years of relevant legal experience, particularly in product liability and commercial litigation
Significant experience providing legal advice on global legal matters preferred
Sound legal judgment and comprehensive business understanding with the ability to assess risk
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders and build relationships
