In this role, you'll connect the Treasurer's Office and the Neighborhood & Housing Division, supporting projects and initiatives that advance neighborhood revitalization, preserve affordable housing, and promote meaningful community development throughout Oakland County.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Public Administration, Community Development, Finance, Accounting, Geography, GIS/Spatial Planning, or a related field. Have at least two (2) years of full-time experience working with a lank bank, County Treasurer's Office, community development organization or related public-sector or non-profit agency.
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
Experience with property tax foreclosure processes, city planning, data analysis, title research, or real estate transactions. Experience in affordable housing financial underwriting and modeling Demonstrated experience in administrative support, customer service, and/or program ability to utilize GIS software, create maps and perform complex spatial analysis. Considerable verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex program information clearly to diverse audiences. Knowledge of federal, state and local housing and community development programs. Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions. Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures. Ability to attend evening and weekend community meetings as needed. Familiar with current word processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail and Internet software.
