The ideal candidate will have hands‐on experience working with electronic systems, excellent diagnostic skills, and a strong understanding of industry standards and safety protocols. Experience in the aviation sector and familiarity with FAA regulations is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, CMMs, and detailed work instructions Use standard electronics bench test equipment including: Spectrum Analyzers Oscilloscopes (O-scopes)Multimeters Power Supplies Conduct troubleshooting, repair, and testing of electronic or avionics systems Ensure compliance with applicable FAA regulations and standards (FAR 145 knowledge is a plus)Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and documentation Navigate computer systems and web-based platforms efficiently Communicate effectively with team members and OEMs, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Aviation OEMs is highly desirableA&P License and/or Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) Certification is a plus Strong understanding of FAA requirements for Part 145 repair stations Prior experience in avionics installation or electronic system repair (3–5 years preferred)
Education and Experience:
Associate degree or technical school certification required Bachelor's degree in electronics, engineering, or related field preferred Minimum 3–5 years of relevant hands‐on experience in electronics or avionics
