What You'll Actually Do: Serve as the right-hand and primary backup to the Assistant Controller, supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Perform hands-on general ledger work, reviewing journal entries, financial statements, and supporting schedules to ensure full GAAP compliance. Gain direct exposure to SEC reporting, supporting the team with Qs, Ks, and technical research as needed. Support external audit requests, maintain internal controls, and partner with leadership on ad hoc finance projects and system enhancements. To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; active CPA certification is required.5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong foundation in GAAP and the GL close process. Public accounting or public-company experience is highly preferred. Detail-oriented, self-motivated mindset with the ability to work independently in a hands-on environment. Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus Sage ERP experience and advanced Excel skills are a major plus. Where and How Much:
