Bring Better to the Bedside as a Hospitalist in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission as part of our growing team. Local Team Collaboration: Join our close-knit team of 20 physicians and 6 advanced practice clinicians with a clinical performance nurse at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. The 504-bed hospital is a closed ICU with intensivist support.
Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible physicians in internal medicine or family medicine. Authorized to work in the United States. Scheduling:7 on/ 7off day shift. We're always there to support each other when covering shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • See a wide variety of diseases while still having specialists readily available in a large community-based hospital with multispecialty support.
  • Work in coordination with an intensivist team that handles all procedures, allowing you to focus on patient care and clinical decision-making.
  • Utilize Cerner with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.
