Title: Associate, Asset Management

Compensation: $110,000 - $135,000 + Bonus + RSUsLocation: San Diego, CA (Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite)

Overview: A growing REIT is seeking an Associate, Asset Management to support portfolio performance, strategic initiatives, and investment decision-making across a commercial real estate portfolio. This role offers exposure to asset strategy, financial analysis, portfolio reporting, leasing initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Support leasing, asset management, and portfolio optimization initiatives
Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and performance reporting
Analyze tenant financials and assist with underwriting activities
Conduct market, property, and industry research to support business decisions
Prepare portfolio reporting and presentation materials for senior leadership
Partner with accounting, legal, operations, and other internal stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, asset management, investments, finance, private equity, or a related field
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Understanding of real estate underwriting and financial statement analysis
Advanced Excel proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting commercial real estate portfolios
Exposure to investment analysis, leasing, capital planning, or portfolio management
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
