Wound Care Program Coordinator

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Wound Program Coordinator to join our dynamic team, working across our national network of integrated healthcare services. This role focuses on improving wound care outcomes through developing, implementing, and maintaining quality wound care programs. As a leader in cost-effective post-acute care, Encompass Health prioritizes innovative techniques and patient-centered practices to enhance recovery and maintain high standards of care. The Wound Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing the wound care program, training staff, and ensuring compliance with current healthcare regulations and standards, thus directly impacting the quality of life and recovery rates of our patients. Develop and implement comprehensive wound care programs in collaboration with healthcare teams. Monitor patient outcomes and implement improvements in wound care practices. Provide training and support to healthcare staff on the latest wound care protocols and technologies. Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations concerning wound care and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate integrated, patient-centered care. Conduct regular reviews and update the program to incorporate the latest in evidence-based practices and technologies. Strong expertise in wound care management. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to train and motivate staff towards achieving exceptional patient care. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) preferred. Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
