Performs other duties as assigned. Associate's degree in business, economics, engineering, or related field and five years of progressively responsible electric utility operations or transmission service experience of an interconnected electrical system and related equipment. Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education in electric utility operations or transmission service experience of an interconnected electrical system and related equipment. North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Certification, BITO or RO and district certification and maintain NERC certification through the NERC continuing education process required. Veteran's Preference (External Applicants Only): Submit DD form 214 or other evidence of veterans' status by the job posting deadline. EEI System Operator/Power Dispatcher (SOPD II) pre-employment test. A negative drug test is required as a condition of employment. Employees must notify supervision when applying for a position.
