Fixed Income Business Analyst

Responsibilities: Analyze and support fixed income trade processing, clearing, and settlement workflows. Investigate trade and settlement issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolutions with business and technology teams. Support government and corporate bond settlement processes, including exception management. Analyze repo, tri-party, and securities borrowing and lending trade flows. Review how trades and lifecycle events move between front office and back office systems. Use SQL to investigate data and validate trade activity. Document requirements, workflows, issues, and proposed process improvements. Follow ITIL processes for incidents, changes, and production support. Required Qualifications8–13 years of experience in fixed income products, systems, or operations. Experience with Broadridge Impact or another fixed income back office system. Strong understanding of the full fixed income trade lifecycle, including processing, clearing, and settlement. Knowledge of government and corporate bond settlement lifecycles. Experience with repo transactions and understanding of tri-party and securities borrowing and lending. Understanding of fixed income accounting and P&L.Working knowledge of SQL and ITIL.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
