Working remotely, the Power Distribution Engineer will manage electric utility aerial and underground distribution design projects, including field surveying and technical oversight of junior staff, while ensuring high-quality infrastructure solutions.
Key responsibilities: Collaborate with project teams to deliver cost-effective infrastructure solutions Coordinate the design and review of distribution projects, including bill of materials and permit applications Perform field inspections and produce detailed design documentation for electrical distribution systems
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical distribution system design 5-10 years of experience in the Power Distribution industry Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years Familiarity with electrical standards such as NEC and NESC preferred
