We are currently seeking a real estate paralegal with experience in all aspects of commercial real estate leasing and purchase and sale transactions to join our Fitness International Real Estate Legal Department located in Irvine, California. Individual will work closely with in-house and outside attorneys and various departments within the company.
Responsibilities include: review title commitments and title exceptions, surveys and zoning matters review leases and prepare lease abstracts assist in the preparation, review, editing and negotiation of commercial real estate purchase and sales agreements, leases, lease amendments, pre-sales agreements and related documents (including CC&Rs, REAs and OEAs) review and negotiate SNDAs consult with and advise in-house departments with respect to the interpretation and administration of real estate leases, purchase agreements and related documents prepare closing documents and organize them for the closing process assist with execution of documents perform all the necessary follow-up for all post-closing matters
Your background includes: Minimum 5 years leasing paralegal experience in commercial leasing with an in-house legal department or law firm, BA degree preferred, and paralegal certification preferred Demonstrated PC skills with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as the ability to learn and use proprietary computer systems and databases. Prioritize multiple tasks in a professional, organized, detailed oriented and proactive way. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate and negotiate successfully with internal team members and tenants. Ability to track and meet deadlines.
