Crypto Portfolio Strategy Specialist

Role Description: We are seeking a Crypto Portfolio Strategy Specialist to support research, portfolio analysis, digital-asset market intelligence, and educational strategy initiatives across the cryptocurrency ecosystem. This role will focus on developing research-based frameworks for understanding crypto portfolio construction, asset allocation, diversification, volatility, liquidity, and risk while translating complex market developments into actionable educational and industry insights. The ideal candidate combines strong financial-market knowledge with a deep understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain, DeFi, tokenomics, and digital-asset market structures. You will contribute to research reports, portfolio strategy frameworks, market analysis, and educational materials designed to help GABC members and ecosystem participants better understand digital-asset portfolio strategies.

Responsibilities: • Research cryptocurrency markets, digital assets, blockchain projects, and emerging investment themes• Develop research-based frameworks for crypto portfolio construction, diversification, asset allocation, and risk analysis• Analyze Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, DeFi, Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems, tokenized assets, and emerging blockchain sectors• Evaluate volatility, liquidity, correlations, drawdowns, concentration, and other portfolio-risk factors• Monitor crypto market trends, capital flows, institutional adoption, and ecosystem developments• Research tokenomics, protocol fundamentals, governance structures, and market dynamics• Develop portfolio research models, analytical frameworks, dashboards, and market-intelligence reports• Conduct scenario analysis and stress-testing research across different digital-asset market environments• Track developments in decentralized finance, blockchain infrastructure, tokenization, and digital financial markets• Prepare educational materials, research papers, presentations, and member-facing market briefings• Translate complex crypto portfolio concepts into clear and accessible information for professionals and association members• Support GABC research and education initiatives focused on responsible digital-asset participation• Collaborate with blockchain experts, investors, researchers, educators, startups, and industry stakeholders• Monitor regulatory and industry developments that may affect digital-asset portfolio strategies• Contribute to conferences, webinars, workshops, and professional-development initiatives related to digital assets Qualifications• 2+ years of experience in investment research, portfolio analysis, financial markets, fintech, digital assets, blockchain, or a related field• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystems• Knowledge of portfolio construction, asset allocation, diversification, volatility, liquidity, and risk-management concepts• Familiarity with DeFi, tokenomics, stablecoins, Layer 1/Layer 2 networks, and digital-asset market infrastructure• Strong financial research and analytical skills• Ability to analyze market data and develop structured investment-research frameworks• Experience creating research reports, market analyses, presentations, or educational content• Familiarity with blockchain analytics and digital-asset market-data platforms is a plus• Strong understanding of emerging crypto-market trends and institutional digital-asset developments• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to explain complex financial and blockchain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences• Strong interest in blockchain education, industry development, responsible adoption, and professional standards• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred• CFA, CAIA, FRM, or relevant blockchain/digital-asset certification is a plus• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment Benefits• Fully remote position available across the USA• Opportunity to work at the intersection of cryptocurrency, blockchain research, education, and industry development• Exposure to a global network of blockchain professionals, investors, startups, advisors, and organizations• Opportunity to contribute to digital-asset research, education, and professional-development initiatives• Collaboration with experienced blockchain and cryptocurrency specialists• Opportunities to participate in industry events, research projects, workshops, and educational programs• Flexible remote working environment• Professional development opportunities across digital assets, blockchain, and financial technology• Opportunity to contribute to responsible digital-asset adoption and industry knowledge Compensation$120,000–$140,000 USD per year, depending on experience, financial research expertise, digital-asset knowledge, and portfolio-strategy capabilities.
