Entrusted Advisors is actively expanding our bench of Construction Counsel to support our global clients. This is an exciting opportunity for attorneys with broad experience in complex construction and infrastructure matters to support sophisticated in-house legal teams and drive critical business initiatives on a flexible secondment basis.
About the Role: Attorneys on our bench may be engaged to provide support for:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex construction agreements, including EPC, design-build, CM-at-risk, GMP, lump-sum, and cost-plus contracts
  • Preparing and negotiating AIA, Consensus
  • Docs, and FIDIC-based contract forms, as well as subcontracts, supply agreements, and professional services agreements
  • Advising on project risk allocation, including indemnities, limitations of liability, liquidated damages, warranties, insurance, and bonding requirements
  • Managing change orders, delay and disruption claims, payment disputes, and mechanic's lien matters
  • Supporting large-scale capital projects across commercial, industrial, energy, and infrastructure sectors from procurement through closeout
  • Coordinating with project management, engineering, procurement, and finance stakeholders
  • Advising on compliance with federal, state, and local construction regulations, licensing, safety (OSHA), and public procurement requirements
  • Collaborating with outside counsel on litigation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution matters
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience advising on complex construction transactions and disputes, including significant experience as part of a corporate in-house legal team
  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracting models, industry-standard contract forms, and project delivery methods
  • Strong familiarity with claims management, risk allocation, and dispute resolution processes in the construction industry
  • Exceptional contract negotiation and drafting skills
  • Ability to work independently, provide practical business-aligned advice, and integrate seamlessly with client teamsJD from an ABA-accredited law school; active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
