LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Neurology MD in Altoona, Pennsylvania, 16601!Our client in PA is seeking a skilled Vascular Neurologist for a 60-day assignment. This Physician will work Monday through Friday from 7am to 4:30pm, with weekend rounding from 7am to 1pm. Responsibilities include managing inpatient stroke patients, performing rounding, conducting consults, and responding to stroke codes.
Responsibilities and Duties: Manage inpatient stroke patients and those with stroke complications or TIA.Perform inpatient rounding (up to 20 patients) in the morning. Conduct inpatient and ED consults. Respond to stroke codes. Round on stroke patients on weekends. Act as a consultant, placing some orders as hospitalists admit patients.
