Fire Alarm Technician

What you'll do: Install, program, and commission addressable fire alarm systems, including Notifier, Simplex, EST/Edwards, Siemens, and Fire-Lite panelsTerminate and test initiating devices, notification appliances, modules, and auxiliary control functionsTroubleshoot ground faults, open circuits, communication issues, and panel trouble conditionsPerform acceptance testing and support AHJ and fire marshal inspections in accordance with NFPA 72 Read and work from fire alarm drawings, riser diagrams, and sequence of operationsComplete service tickets, as-builts, and test documentation accuratelyCommunicate professionally with customers, general contractors, and building ownersWhat you'll bring 2+ years of commercial fire alarm installation or service experienceNICET Fire Alarm Systems Level II preferred; Level I minimum, or willingness to obtain it within a set timeframeState fire alarm license or certification where requiredWorking knowledge of NFPA 72 and addressable panel programmingStrong troubleshooting skills with meters and common test equipmentValid driver's license and ability to travel to job sitesFactory certifications are a plusWhat's offeredCompetitive base salary plus bonus potentialHealth, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with matchPaid time off and holidaysStable company with consistent backlog and growth opportunitiesAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
