Data Engineer

Location: Washington, DC (Onsite Job)

Employment Type: Contract Must-Haves 2+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience Experience delivering multiple production-grade cloud data platform implementations Advanced Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark with some exposure to Databricks. Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data modeling, CDC, streaming, governance, and performance optimization Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment strategies Experience contributing to solution design and architectural decisions Experience leading technical implementation activities and/or mentoring engineers At least one Associate-level or higher AWS, Azure, or GCP certification

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architectures. Experience with Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Google Big Query.
