Job Description: We’re looking for two Heavy Duty/Semi Transmission and Differential Rebuildersto join our team. This person will be responsible for rebuilding transmissions and differentials for semi trucks. This is a hands-on role that’s perfect for someone who enjoys mechanical work, organization, and working as part of a fast-paced team.
Responsibilities: Tear Down & Rebuild: Disassemble automatic and manual transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials. Clean, inspect, and measure internal components for wear. Precision Assembly: Rebuild units to OEM or high-performance specifications using new clutches, gearing, bearings, etc. Quality Control: Maintain a clean bench and ensure all rebuilt units meet strict quality and safety standards. Identify, tag, and organize reusable components and core parts. Inspect gears, bearings, and shafts for wear or damage. Use air tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Load and move transmissions using shop equipment (hoists, forklifts, etc.).
Qualifications: Must have experience rebuilding transmissions and/or differentials Basic mechanical aptitude Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in a shop environment. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions. Must be punctual and team-oriented.
